A paratrike launches on three wheels under a powered paraglider wing. Passenger and pilot sit in a tandem frame rather than running down a slope. That makes take-off mechanically different from foot-launched paragliding, but it does not remove the two controlling constraints: wind and passenger weight.

From ground roll to climb

The pilot inflates and stabilises the fabric wing, accelerates the wheeled chassis across the field, then climbs under motor power. Helmets are wired so passenger and pilot can speak in flight. The listed airtime is twenty minutes; briefing, harnessing, wing preparation and weather waiting sit around that airborne segment.

The wheeled chassis requires a usable ground run even though the wing supplies the lift.

The meeting point is near Ermones, before Corfu Golf Club, rather than at a beach resort launch. Hotel transfer is not included. Closed-toe shoes, sunglasses and sun protection are requested. Loose objects need securing because the cockpit is open and the airflow increases after take-off.

Use the stricter weight figure

The current full description mentions a higher passenger limit than the “not suitable” restriction displayed on the same page. When a product contradicts itself on a safety threshold, the lower live figure must govern until the operator confirms otherwise in writing. The restriction panel currently excludes passengers above 120 kilograms, children under seven and pregnant participants.

Harness geometry and total operating mass are safety inputs, not discretionary booking preferences.

The supplier broadly promotes the activity to people with disabilities, yet provides no condition-specific transfer or restraint details. Anyone needing physical assistance should ask how they enter the seat, whether they can maintain the required posture and what support is available on landing. A marketing statement cannot replace an individual suitability decision by the operator and passenger’s clinician where relevant.

Weather controls the appointment

Paratriking depends on wind strength, direction, visibility and safe ground conditions. The operator identifies morning and evening as commonly preferable in summer, but this is not a schedule guarantee. Leave flexibility around the booking and avoid placing it immediately before a flight, ferry or other immovable departure.

A GoPro recording and SD card are currently included. Confirm device compatibility before depending on immediate playback. Compare this wheeled take-off with the Pelekas tandem paragliding product or the separate Corfu paramotor listing.
