A ten-minute tow can feel completely different depending on the inflatable. This Dassia activity offers three riding positions and lets the group select the intensity before the speedboat moves: seated together on a sofa, seated lower in a donut, or lying chest-down on a slider.

Sofa: shared seating with adjustable pace

The sofa is the most stable group format and can take up to eight riders according to the current description. “Family” does not mean motion-free: the tow still crosses wake and turns. Tell the instructor if the group wants a controlled ride rather than waiting until the boat is underway.

Shared seating makes the sofa the easiest option for keeping a mixed group together.

Donut: the sharpest direction changes

The donut is marketed as the extreme choice, using tighter turns and a smaller platform. Holding strength and tolerance for impact matter more here. It is the wrong selection for a rider who has recently had surgery, becomes motion-sick easily or is unsure about being thrown into the water.

The compact donut produces a more exposed and physically demanding ride.

Slider: prone posture between the two

Slider riders lie forward and grip the handles. That posture lowers the body but directs spray towards the face and loads the shoulders differently. Ask which inflatable is operating and whether every member can use it; the product promises a choice from a variety, not necessarily every photographed model at every appointment.

Lifejackets are included; rider placement and instructions still govern the tow.

The activity excludes pregnant guests, wheelchair users, people with recent surgery and those prone to seasickness. Shoes, intoxication, alcohol and drugs are prohibited. Meet at the floating watersports platform in front of Elea Beach Hotel, identified by large orange flags.

Compare this tow with the individually controlled Dassia watersports combo. The Corfu transport guide can help plan arrival at the beach.
