Paleokastritsa Caves and Stelari Beach: Most of This Boat Trip Is Ashore

The title suggests a three-hour sightseeing cruise, but the current product is better understood as a speedboat transfer with cave viewing followed by a long beach stay. Of the three to three and a half hours, the operator assigns roughly two to two and a half to Stelari Beach.

The boat section is concentrated at the start

From Alipa harbour, the 7.5-metre, 175-horsepower boat visits the Blue Eye, Saint Nicholas and Nausica caves and passes Paradise Beach. Cave entry always depends on swell and the skipper’s assessment; a photograph taken inside a cavern is not a guarantee that every departure can follow the same line.

Stelari is the main commitment

Passengers are left at Stelari for swimming and beach time before collection. Bring everything needed for that interval: towel, sun protection, water shoes and any food beyond the bottled water supplied. The live page tells guests to bring their own snorkel gear. The location’s appeal is isolation, which also means fewer easy alternatives if someone has had enough sun.

Nine passengers share a semi-private vessel
