About this tour

Set Sail from Corfu Town to the Blue Waters of Syvota

Few moments in Corfu, Greece, capture the heady salt air and glinting Ionian light quite like a day on the water. The From Corfu Town: Syvota and Blue Lagoon Full-Day Boat Cruise offers just that—a full day spent easing away from the bustle of Corfu Town, gliding through the gentle shimmer of the sea, and discovering corners that remain blissfully unreachable by car.

Ionian Horizons: Your Adventure Begins

The morning begins in Corfu Town, where sunlight sets the old Venetian facades aglow and the soft rhythm of island life gradually fades behind you as your boat pulls away from the harbor. Swapping cobbled alleyways for rolling blue waves, the air carries the promise of salt and summer—the best of Corfu tours starts with anticipation.

Crossing to Syvota: The Serenity of the Sea

As the coastline of Corfu grows smaller behind you, the cruise heads for Syvota, a fishing village tucked across the strait on the mainland. This route is perfect for travelers looking to experience both the tranquility of open water and a new slice of the Greek landscape in a single, leisurely day trip.

Blue Lagoon: Swim Stops in Another World

The first signature highlight comes at the Blue Lagoon, where the sea shifts to the kind of turquoise usually reserved for postcards. The boat drops anchor and there’s ample time to swim, float, or laze on deck, soaking up the kind of peaceful beauty that defines the Ionian islands. With the sunshine glinting on clear water, it’s easy to see why this ranks among top things to do in Corfu during the warmer months.

Syvota: A Glimpse of Village Life

The journey continues to Syvota, a mainland village where whitewashed walls and fishing boats await. Take your time to wander the harbor, pop into a taverna for a leisurely lunch, or hunt for shaded views of the hills beyond. The pace here is slow and inviting—just right for an extended meal or an ice cream break as church bells echo softly across the quay.

Secret Sea Cave: Exploring the Hidden Coast

Another highlight of this cruise is the visit to a captivating sea cave, accessible only by boat. The entrance shimmers with reflected light, and inside, you’ll find the cool hush of natural stone—perfect for those seeking something unique among day trips in Corfu. It’s the kind of place you’ll remember long after your swim, a world apart from busy beaches.

“Really good day out. Captain Theo and team were so friendly and helpful. The on board bbq (included in the price) was arranged with such efficiency. No buffet scrum! Refreshing. One of the swim stops was busy with other boats so they took us to a different beautiful beach area instead. The mainland village was just beautiful with some classy restaurants and shops. All age groups were on the boat.”

“Equipage très sympathique, jolies visites (dont la grotte) et baignade avec beaucoup d'autres bateaux, mais nous sommes en Aout! Nous avons bien aimé Sivota, nous n'avons vu que la marina (boutiques) car pas mal de navigation pour y rester assez peu de temps.”

“Zu viele Menschen auf einem relativ kleinen Boot”
