This Pelekas product is sold as a 20-minute tandem paraglider flight, but its live description also says a motorised paratrike may be used when the wind is unsuitable for free flying. Those are not interchangeable details. A passenger who specifically wants a foot-launched glide should establish what happens if the operating mode changes before accepting the booking.

The free-flight version

In the conventional tandem format, a certified pilot and passenger fly under a wing designed for two. The briefing includes take-off practice and seat positioning. The passenger must be able to follow the pilot’s timing and continue moving until the wing is carrying the pair. Average airborne time is stated as 20 minutes, with actual conditions influencing the result.

The motorised alternative

The operator notes that weak or wrongly directed wind can prevent the planned launch and that a paratrike may then be offered. A wheeled powered aircraft changes the take-off, sound and sensation. It may preserve an aerial experience when free flight is not possible, but it does not fulfil a narrowly defined wish to paraglide without a motor.

Ask whether the passenger can decline the alternative, reschedule, or receive the cancellation outcome shown in the live terms. That decision belongs before travel to the launch area, especially when the group includes people who chose this product precisely because of its Pelekas flight description.

Who should not treat this as a casual add-on

The current product excludes pregnant travellers, wheelchair users and passengers above 120 kilograms. Comfortable sports shoes are required; sandals and flip-flops are prohibited. Anyone with a medical condition affected by altitude, a hard landing or sudden acceleration should obtain suitable advice and disclose relevant information to the provider.

Travel time deserves attention too. The current meeting point is described near Giannades rather than in central Pelekas, and hotel transfer is available only on request, subject to capacity and an extra charge. Save the pin, verify the road and leave enough time for a route that may be less straightforward than the distance suggests.

The video is a separate purchase

GoPro recording is advertised at an additional charge and the product warns that footage cannot be guaranteed if equipment fails. Decide whether to buy it before gearing up, confirm the handover method and keep the flight itself independent of the recording. A camera failure should not become a safety distraction during take-off.

Choose by launch method

This listing is the stronger match for travellers prepared for a tandem launch and a possible format decision driven by wind. For a product built around a seated motorised trike from the outset, compare the Corfu paramotor flight. The transport guide helps assess the inland meeting point but cannot replace the operator’s final directions.
