“Private” describes who shares the yacht; it does not make geography independent of time. The shortest version stays around Corfu Town’s central-eastern waterfront, while a longer booking can push northeast and create room for a restaurant stop. Before discussing coves with the skipper, select the duration that can physically reach them and return to the marina.

The compact cruise is a city-from-water circuit

The core route passes the Old and New Fortresses, the historic town frontage and Garitsa Bay, then continues toward Mouse Island and the small islands north of town. These are exterior views. The yacht does not land passengers inside a fortress, and a pause near Mouse Island is described as a viewing or photograph opportunity rather than a guaranteed shore visit.

The central route is valuable for its low waterline perspective, not monument admission.

Vido is listed as a swimming area. Lazareto becomes a second swim stop on the four-hour description, subject to operating conditions. An eight-hour booking is the one that opens the northeast coast and a possible meal ashore. Restaurant food is not listed among the yacht’s inclusions, so clarify docking or tender arrangements and settle the meal separately.

Capacity is not usable space

The product is sold for a private group of up to eight. Eight people may fit the operating limit while leaving less room for shade, dry seating and moving around during swim stops. Ask which yacht corresponds to the chosen option, whether every passenger has a suitable seated position, and how the toilet is accessed. The current listing advises against the experience for people with limited mobility; boarding and ladder use deserve a direct conversation.

Ask for the assigned vessel rather than assuming every gallery yacht has the same deck plan.

The current package names a skipper, fuel, taxes, water, snacks, beer, wine, soft drinks, snorkelling equipment, flotation noodles, towels, a Bluetooth speaker and an onboard toilet. Hotel transfers are excluded. These inclusions reduce what the group must carry, but allergies and dietary needs still require confirmation.

Set three priorities for the skipper

Give the skipper an ordered list: for example, fortresses from the water, two swim stops, then a quiet anchorage. A private cruise can adjust within weather, distance and marina-return constraints; it cannot guarantee an exact route against the skipper’s safety decision. If a flight or cruise-ship departure follows, state the hard return time before leaving.

The Corfu boat-tour guide compares shared and private formats. Use the Old Town guide if you want to connect the waterfront view with a land visit.
