On Corfu’s sunlit west coast, Paleokastritsa shimmers between wind-curled bays, pine-shadowed hills, and little church bells that mark each hour of a slow Mediterranean day. Here, there’s a new way to see Corfu, Greece—not just above the water, but below its sparkling Ionian surface, through the unique Corfu: Underwater Cruise in Paleokastritsa.

A Window Into the Ionian Sea

Most visitors who come to Paleokastritsa are drawn to its crystal coves and lively beach cafés, but few get to drift quietly a few meters beneath the waves—head dry, senses awake, surrounded by a world of darting fish, sunlight mosaics, and the slow movement of sea life. This underwater cruise is designed for travelers who love discovery, whether you’re new to the island or returning for another taste of Corfu’s nature and family-friendly activities.

How the Underwater Cruise Works

“very interesting to see what lies below the surface arounds the island. Although you dont see any 'big' fish theres plenty of small shoals to keep the youngsters happy”

“It’s a very nice activity to do in Palaioskastritsa. I would not reccomend it for people who feel seasick, though, and if you do, make sure you stay near the exit. The last 30 min I was super dizzy and could not really enjoy. The service, the activity, the boat, everything was top notch, though. Children seemed to be very excited with the fish, too 😆”
