LUXME Grecotel Costa Botanica: Seaside Luxury in Acharavi, Corfu

If you’re searching for accommodations in Corfu that combine natural beauty, all-inclusive comfort, and easy access to the island’s coast, Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica in Acharavi deserves a closer look. This luxury all inclusive rental is set close to Corfu’s northern shore, in a region famous for its laid-back charm and long, sandy beaches kissed by the Ionian Sea.

Arriving in Acharavi

Acharavi is one of those Corfiot villages where people slow down in the summer heat, linger in traditional cafés, and let the salty sea breeze set the tempo for the day. The area is surrounded by olive groves and pine, with just the right amount of quiet corners to explore on foot or by bicycle. It’s here that you’ll find Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica, shaped by the local landscape and the rhythms of Corfu village life.

Setting and Atmosphere

The resort stretches along a wide, sandy beach — the sort locals love for easy swimming, long morning walks, and those endless Ionian sunsets. The sound of church bells from the village sometimes drifts on the evening air, while the gentle splash of waves is a near-constant soundtrack. Wide lawns, Mediterranean gardens, old olive trees, and scattered shade from cypresses and pines create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere — equally suited to families and couples.

All-Inclusive Comfort

As a rental accommodation, Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica stands out for its focus on stress-free, all-inclusive stays. Guests can expect dining, drinks, and many activities bundled together, so you’re free to settle in and let go of the daily routine. Without getting into specific package details, it’s safe to say that life here feels easygoing and well looked after, whether your priority is sampling Corfiot flavors or simply relaxing by the pool.

Aqua Park and Family Fun

One well-loved feature is the thoughtfully designed aqua park. Water slides and splash areas keep children happy for hours, while parents can enjoy poolside shade or join in the fun. This makes Costa Botanica a natural choice for family-friendly places in Corfu, especially if you want to keep every age group entertained without extra planning.

Nearby Beaches and Outdoor Activities

Acharavi’s coastline is known for its soft sand and shallow waters. The resort’s beachfront offers plenty of space for sun loungers under straw umbrellas and relaxed swimming. Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area provides excellent walking and cycling routes: olive grove paths, mountain views, and secret coves dotted along the coast. Popular things to do in Corfu nearby include paddleboarding, boat rentals, and gentle hikes into the foothills above the beach.

Local Life and Village Flavour

Step beyond the resort and you’ll discover Acharavi’s main street just a short walk away. Here, life is shaped by traditional butchers, bakeries, and tavernas where locals gather for strong coffee or slow-cooked stifado. The pace is gentle, especially in early morning or after the heat of the day fades. For those who love sampling authentic Greek dishes, there are several restaurants nearby serving grilled fish, locally made cheeses, and fresh produce from the island’s farms.

Day Trips and Corfu Attractions

Acharavi makes a good base for exploring northern Corfu. You’re close to Kassiopi’s lively port for afternoon strolls, and only a short drive to the hills of Old Perithia, a stone-built, mountain village frozen in time. There are plenty of easy day trips in Corfu within reach — from the winding lanes of Corfu Town to the fortress views at Angelokastro, or boat trips to quiet waters only locals tend to know.

Planning Your Stay

Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica is one of several luxury hotels in Corfu blending coastal location with practical comfort. It’s suitable for couples seeking calm, families with energetic children, and anyone hoping to enjoy both the water and village culture in the north of the island.

Check‑in schnell, klar, herzlich. Kofferhandling: Speedrun‑Weltrekord. Die Anlage ist ein Spielplatz für Klein und Gross: mehrere Pools, Wasserpark, Lazy River, Bars überall. Bar‑Hopping funktioniert hier bestens.

“We stayed here for the first time with our two boys, age 2 and 6, and had a wonderful experience. The resort is very spacious, so it never felt crowded, even during the peak season. The water park, swimming pools, and beach are all fantastic. The food is varied, healthy, and includes plenty of delicious Greek specialties. You also have the opportunity to book dinner at four à la carte restaurants, which is a great way to enjoy some variety during your stay. At the Tavernaki restaurant, we received outstanding service from Dimitri and his team. Thank you all for your excellent hospitality! :) We also really appreciated how well the staff throughout the resort accommodated my wife's gluten allergy. The spa and massage treatments are highly recommended as well. The hotel can also arrange transfers to and from the airport, which is very convenient. One thing that would make the hotel even better would be an outdoor playground for children (there are already swings) and an indoor play area in the main building. Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring some mosquito repellent. All in all, we had an amazing holiday thanks to the excellent facilities and the incredibly friendly staff. We would definitely love to return.”
