“I ve never experienced anything like this from a hotel: a simple request about room noise escalated into an intimidating confrontation in front of my children, followed by our family being refused check-in despite having prepaid (!!) In more than 15 years of travelling, I have never felt compelled to write a review like this. Two weeks before arrival, we contacted the hotel because several reviews mentioned noise from the bar. We were assured that our room would be sufficiently removed from the noise. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room directly above the bar. When we raised the issue, instead of discussing a solution, the manager became defensive, repeatedly interrupted us, and refused to let us explain our concern. What followed was the most shocking customer service experience I have ever encountered. Several members of the family-run team joined the confrontation, surrounded me, raised their hands aggressively while speaking, and closed in around me while I was holding my distressed child in my arms. The way this conversation escalated was deeply shocking and completely unacceptable. The outcome was that our family was refused check-in and forced to find alternative accommodation despite having already prepaid for our stay. After hundreds of hotel stays around the world, I have never experienced anything remotely comparable. The issue was never the room. It was the complete absence of professionalism, composure, and basic hospitality/education from the staff. Avoid.”

“Tragic service, all the staff are ironic and act like they own the hotel. The incompetent managers don't know how to behave towards their employees or their customers. Courage to anyone who visits them, although I wouldn't recommend it. Good closing!”

“...it seems they're diligently deleting bad reviews here. Unfortunately, the staff isn't very friendly, and cigarette butts sometimes lie around the pool for days without being cleaned up. Forget about sleeping in the evening, as loud music is played until late into the night.”

WB William BlandfordJul 2026

“Not family friendly. Pool wasn't great for young kids. Music pumping constantly at high volume. High prices at pool restaurant (including 1€ surcharge for a small bowl of ketchup to go with chips!) Compared to really nice restaurants nearby. Staff rude or unhelpful and certainly not used to people with kids! The best day was spent at another hotel in the area”
