“Kesinlikle buradan araba kiralamayın Gece 23.30da geleceğimiz söyleyip rezervasyon yaptık 3 ay önce gece geldik ofisleri kapalıydı Sabah geldik 2 saat bekledik işlemleri yapmaları için, Bir araba geldi araba temizlenmemiş Bir çok sorunsuz firma var corfuda buradan uzak durun!!!”

“AbbyCar is a scam, and they overbook. They canceled our booking on the day we arrived, with no other option offered. They did the same thing to at least three other customers who came in at around the same time - we all came from different booking sites, which clearly shows that they're overbooking and cancelling bookings based on whichever reservations suit them best at the time without compensation. Not recommended!”

“BEWARE OF SCAM! ALWAYS GET ADDITIONAL INSURANCE They ruined our vacation! I don't want to waste time writing about all the crap that happened. Long story short: I risk losing my reservation upon arrival and having to pay €650 in damages for a 0.3 cm spot upon return. Learn from my experience: 1) If your flight is late, you'll know in advance, so call them and move the pick-up time. You're still allowed a 1-hour delay compared to the scheduled time, but it's better not to risk it. (Remember that Corfu is an hour ahead of most EU countries.) 2) If you have heavy luggage, one of you stays at the airport while the person who booked takes their documents and credit card and goes to pick up the car. 3) Take a video when you arrive at the office. They don't speak English well and are poor with technology. They're slow and confusing with paperwork, but quick and chaotic when showing you the car. 4) Then take a video of the car inside and out, then CAREFULLY take photos, and immediately communicate anything that bothers you without mercy, because they won't have any at the pick-up. For example, a different car model than the one requested, a bad smell, a dirty car, low fuel, etc. Send emails as soon as you arrive at your accommodation about how the trip went: brakes and clutch, engine, strange noises, wheels and tires. Then ask for photos taken by them right away (I never received them) so you have everything written down as proof. 5) When you have to return the car, refuel it in a small village rather than in Corfu town because it costs less. 6) When returning it, take videos like the first time; they'll try to mess with your head right away. Know that even the slightest scratch is a factor in their favor; it's their job; they're trained and certified for this, and have been doing it for years. If they find one, don't panic, don't be provoked, don't let anyone smell fear, because they're like sharks that smell blood and are intent on making you refuse to pay, so they can keep your entire deposit. I argued until the last minute, and they gave me a one hundred euro discount on the damages to be paid (it's already funny, I won't add anything else). They are the rudest, most unprofessional, most unsympathetic, uncommunicative, incompetent, and disorganized operators I've ever encountered. 7) IMPORTANT: I'm speaking especially to first-time visitors to the island: go slowly and calmly. Arriving somewhere 20 minutes late is better than not arriving at all. Don't rely on speeds indicated on maps, as they're often misleading. If we'd driven 90 km/h where the app said, we'd have taken flight. On the island, locals speed because they're skilled at maneuvering and know the area; they feel like masters and superheroes. Don't try to imitate them; there are tons of curves and hairpin bends, narrow, two-way dirt roads, so keep your distance, especially at night when lighting is poor. There are cats and kittens everywhere, it's their home, so you need to be light-footed, keep your eyes on the road, and have quick reflexes. We have a lot of experience and have had our driving license for 15 years, but we also have many friends who are no longer with us; safety is everything. Have a great summer 2026”

“They charged me **€600** for two scratches underneath the front bumper that I did not cause. Unfortunately, the photos I took did not show that area because the scratches were on the underside of the bumper. The car already had many small scratches and marks in different places. Their behavior was extremely unprofessional. They took my money for damage I did not cause, treating me as if I were responsible. It felt like they were stealing my money by charging me for scratches that weren't mine.”

“If you do not have a credit card avoid the place. Funnily enough, you CAN book without a credit card, BUT ONLY if you pay their full insurance, which is 40 euros per day - basically doubling the price we initially booked for. I understand reading the fine print, but it seems everything around the payment system is made to make you pay more then you initially anticipated. Considering, that usually you are in a desperate situation, they take advantage of that. A customer-focused company would make everything possible for you to have the best experience, unfortunately this seems like a company that tries to make as much money as possible during the season.”
