The supplier does not name a particular cavern, publish the number of entries or guarantee that the yacht will pass inside. What it does sell is a skipper-led departure from Gouvia for up to eight guests, with north-east coves, swimming and snorkelling chosen around the day’s conditions.

Cave access is an operating decision

A sailing yacht cannot reproduce every manoeuvre of a small motorboat. Wind direction, wave reflection near rock and the depth at the entrance determine whether guests view a formation from the deck, approach by swimming or skip it entirely. Ask the operator which cave system is normally attempted and whether the advertised route relies on sail, engine or both.

The exclusions define the suitable passenger
