Olive trees stretch their silvery branches overhead, casting shifting shade across pathways where guests drift from private rooms to the lush garden or open-air terraces. The sea air drifts up from the nearby coast, mingling with the subtle scent of pine and sun-warmed stone—an authentic Corfiot welcome each morning.

Modern Rooms Rooted in Local Character

Every detail at this boutique accommodation draws inspiration from the landscape. Interiors reflect Corfu’s gentle colours—soft whites, sun-bleached wood, stone, and touches of olive green—creating a sense of quiet sanctuary. From private balconies, you might hear the light chime of distant church bells or the laughter from a nearby taverna at dusk. Guests at The Yard Corfu find both comfort and connection—a place to pause between trips to the sea or strolls through village life.

Wellness with a Greek Island Spirit

Aside from its inviting rooms, this boutique hotel puts a gentle focus on wellness experiences. Stretch out under olive branches for a morning Pilates class, or seek out the on-site gym for a workout cooled by evening breezes. The pace is always your own—whether you prefer energetic mornings or lazy afternoons in the shade. The cycle of sun and shade, the lull of island time, encourage you to recharge in harmony with Corfu’s landscape.

“Here is the corrected and expanded version in German: Overall, we had a lovely stay at The Yard Corfu. The hotel is a very tastefully designed, modern boutique hotel with a relatively small number of rooms, creating a pleasantly quiet and personal atmosphere. The truly fantastic pool area deserves special mention. The selection on the lunch menu was also perfectly adequate for us, and the food was delicious. However, we didn't find the five-star rating reflected in every aspect. There weren't so many serious flaws as several minor issues where, in our opinion, a little more attention and service orientation would have been appreciated. For example, at reception, I was asked if I could sign bills that had already been charged to our room number before our arrival. A quick glance at the booking and arrival dates would have immediately revealed that these bills couldn't have been ours. In our view, this shouldn't happen in a hotel of this category. We also would have appreciated more information at breakfast. We only learned later that egg dishes could be ordered in addition to the buffet. A small menu on the table or a brief explanation at the beginning of our stay about which additional dishes could be ordered would have been very helpful. Apart from that, breakfast was delicious and excellent. Dinner was similar. It was possible to eat at the hotel restaurant after making a reservation, and apparently, a different menu was offered daily. Unfortunately, we never knew what the evening menu would be during our stay. It would have been nice to have a brief announcement at breakfast about the evening menu so we could decide whether or not to make a reservation in advance. Based on the website, we also expected the sports facilities to be more extensive, or at least Pilates to be available directly through the hotel. While mat Pilates was included, Reformer Pilates had to be booked and paid for separately with the instructor. We found this somewhat disappointing. We also found the organization of the pool towels a bit cumbersome for a five-star hotel. They had to be picked up from reception and returned there afterward. It's understandable that a hotel might want to avoid losses, but we would have expected more comfortable service from a hotel in this category. We would especially like to commend Constantina. She was by far the best member of staff we encountered, and her warm and attentive manner contributed greatly to our feeling at ease. The hotel's location is good, as everything in town is within walking distance. The town itself wasn't particularly memorable for us, which, of course, isn't the hotel's fault. Overall, The Yard Corfu is a beautiful and stylish boutique hotel with a great pool, good food, and plenty of potential. However, for a truly convincing five-star experience, we felt it lacked the necessary service quality, clearer communication, and a bit more attention to detail in some areas.”

“We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Yard Corfu and will definitely be back! The location is pleasantly quiet, far from the typical tourist hotspots, which creates a very relaxed atmosphere. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and a supermarket is practically right around the corner. Our room with a private whirlpool was beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained. We were also delighted with the pool area – it was never crowded, and there were always plenty of sun loungers available. The breakfast buffet was fresh every morning, varied, and left nothing to be desired. We can also highly recommend the restaurant – the food was excellent at both lunch and dinner. The absolute highlight, however, was the entire service team. All the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and dedicated, and they made our stay truly special. We would particularly like to commend a young woman who worked at the breakfast buffet in the mornings – her warm personality and exceptional service have stayed with us. If you want to explore the island, you should rent a car. For a relaxing holiday in a peaceful setting, The Yard Corfu is the perfect choice. Many thanks to the entire team – we're already looking forward to our next visit! Eva & Matthias”

“We stayed at this hotel at the end of May/beginning of June. The hotel, the room, and the pool are very pleasant and tastefully decorated. The bedding was excellent. The only slight drawback is that the hotel is somewhat isolated, but this is quickly forgotten once you're inside. Breakfast is delicious, except for the fruit (none of it was ripe), and dinner is good quality, although a bit pricey. The restaurant manager could be much more efficient, while the waitresses are friendly and pleasant. I recommend it for a short stay, for relaxation (the sun loungers around the pool are very comfortable). I also thank the hotel for its thoughtful touches: a welcome note and small bottles of olive oil, a lovely little souvenir that allowed us to linger a little longer.”
