Elite Corfu – Adults Friendly Hotel

“A heartbreaking experience — wonderful place, but sadly not for us I am writing this review with a heavy heart. I want to start by saying this property itself is lovely, but unfortunately, it turned out to be completely unsuitable for our trip, and the overall experience left us feeling deeply distressed and helpless. First, if you do not have your own car, please be very careful. The property is located high up on a hill with a very complex road system. Walking to any nearby restaurants or shops takes around 30 steep, difficult minutes. We tried calling Uber twice, but both drivers struggled immensely with the confusing directions and took over 20 minutes just to find us. For travelers without a vehicle, it is incredibly easy to feel stranded and trapped here. What saddened us the most was how a small issue was handled. Being up on the hill, insects are naturally present. I left a pastry on the table in our room while we went out for a quick dinner, and when we returned, it was completely overrun by a massive swarm of ants. When we politely approached the front desk for help, we were shocked to be met with blame instead of understanding. We were told it was entirely our fault and that "rooms are only for sleeping, not for eating." Having stayed in hotels all over the world, we felt so ashamed and hurt to be spoken to this way simply for having a snack in our room. Feeling so overwhelmed by the ants and unable to easily get around, we asked if we could cancel our remaining night. We simply couldn't stay in a place where we felt so uncomfortable, but the refusal and cold reaction left us feeling completely dismissed. It breaks my heart because the location might work for a very specific type of traveler with a vehicle who only needs a place to sleep. But for us, what was supposed to be a peaceful getaway turned into a stressful, upsetting ordeal.”

“We stayed in this hotel for a week for our honeymoon. The hotel is quite secluded and the road to it is tiny and steep. But it's such a lovely, aesthetic place. The room is spacious, with a fridge, which was super convenient, and we had a terrace with the seaview, which was amazing. There are so many lovely flowers, bushes and plants, especially around the pool. The pool doesn't have a seaview, but you are surrounded by nature, so it was very calming. The breakfast was pretty decent, lots of choices. The vibes are rather 'grown up', it's quiet and private, so for those looking for something relaxing and intimate, this is the place to be. Finally the staff was really kind and professional, our room was cleaned every single day, which was unexpected (we didn't need that, though), and the owner is nice, too. We really enjoyed our stay here!”

“The hotel was in a very good location, our rooms had a very nice view and the service was excellent. However, there are some things we would like to add. The rooms need a renovation, they had several issues with cleanliness but not to a tragic level. Also, a problem that the whole of Corfu has but it should be mentioned at breakfast, there are quite a few bees and this may be unpleasant for some, we had no problem at all. Overall the hotel is 4 out of 5 with a few changes it would be excellent.”
